Using the USB Connect Portable device, you can load and save CNC programs to virtually any CNC machine tool. The device comes with a built-in USB port to transfer programs, allowing any brand or size of USB thumb drive to be used. Once the USB drive is plugged into the USB Connect, you connect the RS232 serial cable supplied to the machine’s serial port. The machine parameters can be configured in the device to allow different baud rates, data bits, and parity for proper handshaking. Transferring the program to the CNC is accomplished by selecting CNC to USB, USB to CNC, or DNC options on the USB Connect.
