pWidget Browser HMI is a cutting-edge, browser-based application optimized for seamless operation across mobile, tablet, desktop, and TV platforms. Fully compatible with Predator DNC and MDC software, it facilitates secure local and remote file transfers, provides advanced file preview capabilities, and offers robust security features.

Customizable Interface and Machine View Configuration

Users have the flexibility to configure the software’s interface to match their preferences, allowing them to customize the view, machines, and functionality as needed. You can create multiple views to display machines, including cell-based views that restrict visibility to only those machines relevant to operators within a specific cell. Additionally, a master view can be set up for the shop supervisor to monitor all machines across the shop floor.

Each tile in the interface is linked to specific machines, and when accessed by a user with the appropriate permissions, it will display the options available for that machine.

Effortless Deployment

Access the HMI by simply loading a page in a browser—no need to copy INI or EXE files onto client machines. This browser-based approach streamlines deployment, eliminates the hassle of managing multiple INI files, and significantly accelerates the setup process.

Enhanced Security

There’s no longer a need to assign permissions individually to each domain user for viewing UNC paths or mapping drives. All permissions are now managed through a Windows Service account on the server running pWidgets, streamlining security management and reducing potential vulnerabilities.

pWidget offers a site-based licensing model that allows unlimited installations on shop floor PCs, with pricing based on the number of machines rather than users. Shop Floor Automations can also customize pWidget to fit your specific budget and manufacturing needs.

pWidgets Browser HMI with Predator Products

With pWidgets Browser HMI integrated with Predator products, sending or receiving a file from your machine is straightforward. By clicking the appropriate tiles, you can select the file you wish to send, preview, or edit and it will be properly routed to Predator DNC for delivery to the machine.

Adjusting your machine’s status is equally simple when integrated with Predator Machine Monitoring—just press the designated tile corresponding to your desired downtime reason, and it will update the machine accordingly.
