Can Predator Traveler handle growth?
Predator Traveler is designed to utilize a powerful, open architecture, relational database. The Predator MES suite supports Microsoft Access®, Microsoft SQL Server®, and Oracle®, allowing you to start small and expand to accommodate greater performance and storage needs.

Easy to Use Wizards

Is the software easy to use?
Many of the procedures for both data entry and day to day use are wizard driven to help streamline the process. Wizards are used to assist users in creating, revising, releasing, copying, rollback, and viewing travelers. The wizards also help with the next logical step. For example, when completing the wizard for creating a new tool or gage number the user has the option to directly launch additional wizards to specify more information about the gage such as the vendor, reference dimensions, or calibration specifications.

Automate and Streamline Processes

How can Predator Traveler Help?
Predator Traveler will automate ECN and revision control. Save time by using Search and Replace wizards along with Where Used wizards for tools, gages, machines, etc. Predator Traveler will also help reduce or eliminate paper, manual entry, and setup sheets, along with tracking first article setups.

Electronic Attachments

Can existing documents and drawings be used?
Predator Traveler allows the user to attach and view an unlimited amount of native AutoCAD® drawings, Microsoft Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®, Adobe PDF®, HTML, JPG, GIF, video clips, and many other file formats. Also, the attachments can be associated with a gage, a tool, an insert, a machine, an operation, or a traveler, along with many other items and processes.

Reports and Charts

How can I view the data?
Predator Traveler contains over 100 standard reports. Additional reports and charts will continually be added in future versions. Many reports contain filters and drill downs to focus on the appropriate data. All reports can be exported to Excel® or HTML. In addition, optional Web based and custom reports are available or you can create your own reports with any third party reporting tool.

Parametric Part Manufacturing

Can Predator Traveler reduce the number of programs I have to maintain?
PPM for a family of parts integrates Travelers with Predator DNC. The PPM features allow the updating of CNC programs with part number specifics as they are downloaded to the CNC machine. The specifics are stored in Travelers and the programs are updated in real-time with Predator DNC which enables having only one CNC program per part family.
