Predator HTML Connect is an add-on client interface for Predator DNC and Predator MDC. The software runs in a Java enabled browser and takes advantage of existing corporate wired and wireless networks. The interface is designed to be a simple but powerful tool for shop floor personnel and managers to interact in real-time with the Predator SFC Suite and the shop floor.

PC Based Controls Become Alive

Looking to bring PC based controls online? By simply opening a browser on the PC based control, operators can move NC programs to the CNC control, Print Tool List, Request Material, Login to ERP Systems and more.  The interface can be used for numberous applications with your own custom interface. 

Predator HTML Connect Designer

Looking for a configurable big button interface? If you are in need of simplicity on the shop floor Predator HTML Connect is your solution. With a push of one button a CNC program can be loaded, scrap can be recorded, downtime can be entered, or an e-mail can be sent. Buttons can be defined for particular tasks: a big button keyboard can be used to send information, or an oversized browse window can be displayed to select files. A button can even be set to launch another application.

HTML Connect can also be used with Predator DNC Remote Request to load CNC programs. A button can be set to load the next program defined in the DNC schedule. Other options are also to have a button launch the touch screen keyboard and the operator can type the name of the program and have it sent to the CNC. A third option is to have a button set to browse a local or a network directory and have the operator select the program to download.

Need a simple interface but do not want to sacrifice the power of the leading shop floor control suite?

Don't let the simple interface fool you. HTML Connect can access all the functionality of Predator MDC and Predator DNC. All the powerful features are still available such as sending an e-mail to the maintenance or quality department, entering the quantity of good parts, entering scrap with scrap codes, or entering machine downtime with downtime codes. The administrator designs a screen controlling the amount of groups and the number of buttons within each group.

Do your requirements change? Using the HTML Connect designer the administrator can define the number, layout, size, color, icons, and functionality of the buttons. Create an unlimited amount of screens, release and unrelease screens from the shop floor, and copy existing screens to save time. The designer puts you in control of the look and feel of HTML Connect.

Want to use existing hardware?

The HTML Connect client software is a Java enabled browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Mozilla. HTML Connect can run directly on Microsoft Windows Embedded controllers so an additional PC at the workstation is not required. Other operating systems such as Linux or Mac OS are also supported. Total cost of ownership can be minimized by using thin clients or mobile devices.

Do you need mobile access? Would you like the power of HTML Connect on your PDA? Mobile devices have the ability to see all of the real-time machine status information such as parts made, parts scrapped, and downtime codes. A PDA can also be used to send CNC programs through Predator DNC, enter downtime, scrap codes, along with the rest of the functionality of Predator MDC.
